Jelly Fish Jam

I am going to fess up to something. I love spongebob. I know, I know- I’m a grown adult, but still, Spongebob is awesome and the jokes go right over some kids’ heads! My baby sister loves Spongebob too- especially the Jelly Fish Jam (have to say it’s my favorite, myself). So, when Rafik and I went on an adventure to the Georgia Aquarium this weekend, I was beside myself to see the gorgeous jellyfish on an amazingly stunning cobalt blue background. Needless to say, Rafik took a million pictures and now you have a jellyfish design to look at! By the way, congratulations on getting to my new website domain!

And here’s the inspiration image- a GORGEOUS shot that Rafik captured on his phone:

For this design I started with OPI Nail Envy, then two coats of Revlon Fast Dry in Royal (its my favorite blue- and it DOES NOT STAIN!!!!) and a mix of Wet N Wild Sunny Side Up, Milani Neon Awesome Orange, and OPI Big Hair… Big Nails for the oranges. I also layered some OPI Cabana Banana underneath the body for some pow. Some OPI Alpine Snow to outline and finally I topped off with a coat of Seche Vite and voila! Jellyfish!!!

I’m still working on the design of my new website so please bear with me but it’ll be done soon! <3 Tara The Terror

Some of the polishes in this post were sent to me by the manufacturer. For further information, please see my disclosure statement.

  1. Hi Tara: I will admit it too, I love Sponge Bob, many adults, especially on radio love the little sponge. It’s almost like the Simpson, the cartoon is geared to adults and kids. Patrick the star fish, Squid ward the Squid, Mr. Crabs, I can’t figure out Mr. Crabs, where is his wife? How come Patrick and Square pants can’t swim in Laguna Beach??? I know it’s just a catoon, but they live in the sea, LOL

Anyway, enough of that, your nails are always so beautiful and gorgoeus, today’s masterpiece is no exception. I love the colors and the design of the jellyfish. Love the inspiration you choose.

    George :)
