Summer In The City

I’m loving Atlanta. I’m also loving that the temperature is 92 everyday and we have at LEAST 7 pools in our complex. You already saw pictures of my favorite one a few posts back. Life has been really busy but today, I deserve it, I’m visiting the pool. Today’s design is inspired by a beach towel that I came across by accident online….

For this design I started with OPI Natural Nail Base coat and used (all OPI) That’s Hot! Pink, Greenwich Village, Quarter of A Cent-ury, The IT Color, Dating A Royal, Suzi Says Feng Shui, Sparrow Me The Drama, Planks A Lot, Chop-Sticking To My Story, and Gargantuan Green Grape all on a base of Alpine Snow. Topped with Seche Vite and I’m ready to hit the rays. :)

Happy Summer :) I hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am!!!

Some of the polishes in this post were sent to me by the manufacturer. For further information, please see my disclosure statement.

  1. MC, you are killing me here. I LOVE this!!! I swear I’m going to take a trip to see you just to get you to do some magic on my nails (well and to give you a great big hug!). Your creativity is a source of wonderment for me.

    GORGEOUS!!!

  2. I won’t say no!!!! If you ever feel like visiting and getting your nails done by me, you are more than welcome! I’m glad you like it :) :) :)

  3. This is so cool Tara, love the nail design and free hand artistry. The colors you chose and how it looks more like a picture hanging inn an art museum and yet you carry this piece of art on your fingernails. Woman must love getting their nails done by you if they can expect the love and passion you put int his…beautiful and gorgeous.

    Love,

    Mc Huggs :)

    • Thank you! My designs take different amounts of time- depending on the detail. This one took about an hour to do (I do both hands of it would have been less). Some designs take just a few minutes and some take ages! like 2-3 hours! LOL It just depends I guess! :)
