You know that feeling when you can’t think of a word, and it’s on the tip of your tongue and it drives you insane? That’s how I felt today and on all of the days where I’m feeling uninspired. I so desperately wanted to do a wicked detailed design but the inspiration was just out of my mind’s grasp. So, until I think of something better (who knows, you might get two designs today because the one I have on is aggravating me every time I look down and think of what I wanted to do) this design will have to do :) It’s not that I don’t like it, because I do, and sometimes doing a clean and crisp simple design is even harder than doing a detailed one, its just…. not what I wanted for today. Oh well, maybe I’ll go on a walk and get inspired after posting.
For this design I used OPI Nail Envy and Rapid Dry Top Coat and then all Nicole By OPI: Razzle Dazzler, The Right Thing, Once Voice, You’re A Star, Fresh Squeezed, Deeply In Love, Baby Blue, Iceberg Lotus, Too Rich For You, Dandy Lion, The Next CEO, OMB!, and I’m A Pool For Love. I also use a tiny bit of OPI Alpine Snow for the black nail. Like I said, pretty but not what I wanted…. even still, would you wear something like this at all or no?
Don’t forget about my nail art contest! :P

Today I treated myself with hanging out by one of the pools in our new apartment complex. It is because of the sun and water that I decided to do today’s design! First, let me show you the pool because you’ll understand why I was so in awe:
Yes, those are my toes. Each level has its own swimming area, so the pool is WAY bigger than it looks here… and each one has at least one waterfall- most have 2 or 3!!! Needless to say I got a good tan and enjoyed the water!!
Now for the design. This is just a quick one! I forgot to take a sparkle shot on before the swirls so I caught one before I did the swirls on my right hand for you….
For this one I started with OPI natural Nail Base coat and did 2 coats of Nicole By OPI Me+ Blue. Since it has holo glitter in it, I wanted to really rev up the tips so I added with sponging three coats of Nicole By OPI Make A Comet-ment as a gradient, which only shows a little in the pictures. I used OPI Alpine Snow for the swirls…. Topped with a coat of Seche Vite. Not my favorite design since it really obscures the glitz of it, but in hindsight I’ll make bigger and fewer swirls! Cleanup was tough since my cuticles are dry- which means blue stains and glitter sticks, but after a few handwashings it’ll come off I suppose….
Here’s the sparkle shot!!! Its darker and MUCH more glitzy in person
Don’t forget to enter my nail art contest themed on Celebration! To win Nicole By OPI’s Something About Spring Collection!!! xoxo

I mentioned in my Nicole By OPI Blogger Spotlight that I wanted to do a design that looked like jewelry. I decided to do it for you today! And I decided also to give you both hands since I’ve received many requests to post both hands more frequently.
I was also playing around with flashes- which is why my two hands are different colors!!! I couldn’t get a good picture with my normal settings for my right hand today.
I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, (All Nicole By OPI) You’re A Star, Razzle Dazzler, It Starts With Me, Rich In Spirit, Miss Independent, and The Next CEO, topped with a coat of Seche Vite.
I didn’t realize the amount of VNL that two coats of You’re A Star had- I would have put a third coat had I done the designs in a more well lit room!! And to answer Kimberly’s question from yesterday, the mexican food was great!!!
UPDATE!!! I didn’t even realize it or do it one purpose, but my nail design matches my shoes too!!! I took the picture quickly so its a tad blurry, but check it out:
On my toes is Nicole By OPI Red-y To Runaway Love? :)
